Title: Anorexia Nervosa vs. Bulimia: Are you a patient of any of these?
Thin- four words that can either make or break a person.
Weight is our society’s standards of beauty. If you are thin, you are beautiful. You are admired. You get complements wherever you go. If you are fat, you are laughed at. You are ridiculed. You are not beautiful. You are not good enough.
This is the sad reality.
If you are vain, you would definitely be doing all sorts of things just to be thin and that makes you are a very vulnerable candidate for eating disorders like Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia.
Would you actually believe if I tell you that:
1. There are some people who would starve themselves just to be super thin.
2. There are some people who would eat and will push themselves to throw up because they are afraid that they might get fat by what they have eaten
3. There are some people who would have queer eating rituals like throwing food so others will not notice that they are not eating at all.
4. There are some people who thinks that the only means to be attractive is to be thin.
Title: Anorexia Nervosa: Eating Disorder or a Phobia?
You are already crossing the line between normal dieting and an eating disorder if you are doing the following:
1. You exercise for 2 hours because you took one bite in one slice of calorie packed cream pie.
2. You would want to skip family or office events where you will have a strong urge to eat.
3. You get depressed when you look at the mirror because all you see is fat, fat, fat.
4. You are afraid to eat and you are afraid to get fat.
5. You start checking the labels for the calorie content of everything that you eat.
If you see these signs, take them as red flags. These are the early signs of an Anorexia Nervosa.
Do you think being thin is fashionable? Are you obsessed with being thin?
Did you ever try starving yourself so you will not gain weight?
Was there a time when you try to do so much exercise so you can burn all the fats in your body?
Does your life revolve around being thin to be attractive?

Art is the product or process of deliberately arranging items (often with symbolic significance) in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, photography, sculpture, and paintings. The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics, and even disciplines such as history and psychology analyze its relationship with humans and generations.

This is a short video I made about my struggle with an eating disorder, and my triumph over it. After an abusive childhood, I developed anorexia when I was 13. It wasn’t until I was 16 and started having serious health problems that I finally got help. I was told that I probably wouldn’t make it to 17. I spent a month in Children’s Hospital and am living proof that recovery IS possible. Note – there are no triggering pictures in this video. Please do not ask me to post any pictures of me at my lowest weight.
